After what the year 2020 did to small businesses, I knew I wanted to start out 2021 serving small business owners in a special way. So I teamed up with my favorite studio space in Denver, Realm, and put the word out. Branding Mini Sessions for those businesses who wanted to take things to the next level. This wasn’t a marketing ploy either. Branding images truly did bring my own business to the next level. Showing your face with professional imagery makes a huge difference. If you read any updated marketing book these days, it will tell you this: people don’t buy what you do, they buy who you are. Just think about your own spending tendencies. Do you want to buy from the impersonal brand who takes no intentional care into what they do? Or do you want to buy from the person down the street, who’s face you know, and who puts all of their heart, soul, and money on the line to serve their community. I’d choose the the latter any day. So here they are! The three businesswomen I had the privilege of photographing. The first was a dear friend of mine, Kylie from Kylie Lloyd Photography. She is an insanely talented photographer who has taken all of our family photos since we arrived here in Denver. She also second shoots for me at the majority of my weddings! I couldn’t love her, or the way her branding photos came out, more.

Second is Lauren and her business The Denver Vegan Nutritionist. She is a Registered Dietician Nutritionist who has a serious love for serving her clients and helping them become the healthiest and best versions of themselves. She’s got the education, the sweetest personality, and the passion all needed to create an incredibly intentional business. Go check her out!

Third is Amanda from Modern Jane Creative. Offering branding & website design for women-owned businesses here in Denver, Amanda has a passion for strategic design.
