Rachel and John David have been good friends of ours for several years. Rachel and I met back in 2017 through our Church community group when I lived in Dallas and the rest was history. We hit many of the major life events together over the last 4 years — engagement, weddings, babies. We were there for Rachel & John David’s wedding in the summer of 2019 and then were there for ours this past winter. Then 10 weeks after Rachel found out she was pregnant, I found out I was! It’s been such a joy having her as a friend through all of these big life events.
When she asked if I would capture their Texas lakeside maternity photos, I was overjoyed. There was no question. These two are pure sunshine. They’re the type of couple whose laughter and love is infectious and you can’t help but smile when you’re around them. I’m sure you’ll agree once you see the photos.
Rachel and JD, yall are just the best. I feel so blessed to have been able to capture this special season in your life — your last moments as “just us” and the anticipation of baby Lucy. There’s no doubt she will bring you more joy and laughter than you’ve already experience together, which is saying a lot! I cannot wait to meet her and watch your love and family continue to blossom!
