It all started in September of 2016. Amelia & Robert, both transplants to the Denver area, found themselves at Wash Park for a co-ed Volleyball game. Robert was smitten when he saw Amelia that Fall evening. He even mustered up the courage to ask her out. To his dismay but not surprisingly as the beauty she is, Amelia was taken. But Robert was persistent.
Time passed and the word got to Robert’s ear that Amelia was single again. He wasted no time, and that very day, asked her out again. This time, she said yes.
Four Septembers later on Labor Day 2020, Robert asked Amelia to be his wife. Surrounded by the beauty of Steamboat Springs, CO, she said yes. And in just a few short months, they’ll be married in just the same place!
I loved hearing Amelia & Robert’s story. I will truly never tire of hearing the love stories behind the lovely couples I get to work with. In preparation for their wedding day in the mountains, we took to the mountains for their engagement photos.
Sapphire Point Overlook near Frisco, CO is just the perfect place for engagements. It’s got the views, the evergreens, the nice secluded paths. The weather was not necessarily on our side, as it was quite a blustery day, but that was no matter. They cozied up together, braved the wind and looked darn good doing it. Don’t you think?
Amelia & Robert, your joyfulness is so rare and refreshing. I had an absolute blast capturing your engagement photos in such a stunning place. I am so excited to capture your wedding day this coming Fall at the beautiful Lucky 8 Ranch in Steamboat Springs!
