This wedding was of yet another couple whose original plans were uprooted by the COVID-19 pandemic. But if you’ll remember from their engagement session blog post, Adriana + Chris didn’t let COVID dull their spirits or stop them from getting married. The couple had a Fall Colorado Springs Micro Wedding this past September and honestly, it was perfection.
Adriana + Chris were wed at the quaint and cozy St. Peter the Rock Chapel in Monument, CO surrounded by their closest friends and family. Outside, the chapel sits in the shadow of the Front Range of the Rockies. Inside, it was bright with traditional Catholic imagery and stunning stained glass windows. It was just the right size for this beautiful Fall Colorado Micro Wedding.
The bride’s gown was made for her. It was a beaded and lace form-fitting gown, featuring an open corset back and off-the-shoulder cap sleeves. The sweetheart neckline accentuated Adriana’s beauty and her simple yet stunning low, up-do. Her florals were done by the talented Ashley Eileen and featured soft hues of pink and blush, whites and stunning greens. The groom looked so dapper in a navy blue suit, light blue tie and cognac dress shoes.
The couple shared their vows in an intimate and emotional ceremony and right after, we all went to a nearby park for family photos and bride & groom portraits. It was so fun to capture everyone’s excitement in the shady, wooded park.
Adriana + Chris, your wedding was so touching and your spirit as a couple is so refreshing. You didn’t let the obstacles get in the way of your true call to marriage and your love for one another is so beautiful. I hope you love these photos as much as I loved capturing them. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and service to one another in the Sacrament of Matrimony!
