Vivian reached out about her Longmont Studio Maternity Session in January of this year when I was 8 months pregnant. She wasn’t far behind me in her own pregnancy and wanted to capture this special season. Being able to capture the beauty of her pregnancy and marriage while I was in the same season was just a dream come true. There’s just no way to fully appreciate pregnancy — in all of its beauty and struggle — without experiencing it for oneself. So I was so thrilled that we were going to get to celebrate this stunning Mama in such a beautiful light-filled studio space. Sugarhill Studio has become one of my favorite places to shoot. It’s always donned with the best styled furniture and the light is great no matter what time of day.
Vivian and her husband Cole could not have been styled better for this amazing shoot. For their first look, Vivian wore a soft beige wrap dress that hugged her bump perfectly and Cole wore a white button down and distressed light washed denim. They’re already the coolest parents on the block. For her second look, Vivian wore a lace kimono over soft skin-tone lingerie which showed off her beautiful growing belly so perfectly. I love how feminine and soft these looks were! They photographed beautifully in this space.
Vivian Cole, words can’t express how grateful I am to have captured this Longmont Studio Maternity Session for your family. I know just how precious and fast the time goes in pregnancy and I am so glad you took the time to document it. Now I’ll get to watch your little one grow on Instagram and I cannot wait! I hope we get to cross paths again in the future for more sessions for your stunning, growing family.
